The EVK1105 offers advanced debug, trace and programming interfaces. These interfaces can be used with the Atmel tools like the AVRONE! and the JTAGICE mkII.
A NEXUS connector (J7 marked with NEXUS) offers fast debug and trace capabilities for the UC3A.
UC3A JTAG
The J8, 10-pin JTAG header, offers standard JTAG debugging and programming for the UC3A. The header is marked with JTAG.
UC3A USB
It is possible to start the UC3A USB DFU bootloader by grounding J16.1 pin (connect J16.1 to J16.9 to start the bootloader).
UC3B JTAG
The JTAG header J12 can be used to program and debug the UC3B board controller. This header is not mounted by default and must be added if new firmware shall be written to the device.
