The QT600 has two operating modes: Touch data streaming mode and Programmer mode.
In Touch data streaming mode, QT600 reads touch data from an MCU connected to the Touch data header and sends it to QTouch Studio running on the PC. This mode is the default mode when QT600 is connected to the PC.
Programmer mode is used when QT600 is used to program a firmware image into an MCU. This is performed using the Programming dialog found in AVR Studio.
The TOUCH DATA LED indicates which mode QT600 is in. When the LED is light (or flashing, which indicates touch data traffic) QT600 is in Touch data streaming mode. If the LED is not lit, the QT600 is in Programming mode.
