QT600 interface board

The QT600 Interface Board, hereafter abbreviated QT600IB, is the communication interface between the touch system and the AVR QTouch Studio. It receives touch signal data from the MCU running QTouch library, and forwards this data to the AVR QTouch Studio for visual presentation.

The Interface Board has two types of data interface for the touch data: SPI and TWI (I2C compliant). The Touch MCU will be the master, and initiate all transmissions.

The SPI and TWI lines are available on a standardized 10-pin connector.

The QT600IB will supply power to the touch mcu board. The voltage can be adjusted from the programming dialog in AVRStudio and can be set to 0-1,8-2,7-3-3 or 5V. The QT600IB can deliver up to 100mA to the target MCU.

The QT600IB can also be used as a programmer. It has ISP, PDI and JTAG programming interfaces
