The Live Watch extension for Atmel® Studio makes it possible to watch and log variables from a program in near real-time on devices that has trace capabilities. For devices without this capability, databreakpoints are used with a optimized low-level auto-resume function to minimize the time that the device is halted.
The log files produced are in a open format, making it easy to load the files into other analysis tools for plotting or other functionality.
